As part of our education-focused community development work, Sowers Action Nepal installed 9 solar lighting units across two schools in Benighat Rorang-09, Dhading. The main beneficiaries are students from the Chepang community, a historically marginalised group with limited access to reliable electricity.
The installation improved classroom lighting, made the schools safer and created better learning conditions, especially during low-light hours – contributing to a more inclusive and supportive learning environment.
