Sanitary Pads Distribution 2024-25 | Kathmandu

The Sanitary Pads Distribution Project is part of our effort to make sure every student, regardless of gender or socio-economic status, has what they need to succeed in school. By providing menstrual hygiene products to underprivileged female students, we help them attend school without interruption and focus on their studies.

In FY 2024–25 the project reached 618 students at two schools: Padma Gatsal Choiling School in Kageshwori Manohara (300 students) and Ngagyur Memorial School in Chandragiri Municipality (318 students).

The project has improved health and hygiene practices, and schools report that attendance has increased significantly because students no longer miss classes for lack of sanitary products. It has also strengthened the confidence and dignity of young girls, helping them pursue their education without fear of stigma.
