The Winnie Lam Library is a vital learning and community resource for children, youth and adults in Gokarneshwor. It was established to promote a reading culture and provide equitable access to educational materials, and has become a reliable hub where visitors read, study, use digital resources and join community learning activities.
For many local families it offers a safe, quiet and structured place to study that they do not have at home. The library also hosts workshops, small-group learning sessions, book clubs and youth development activities, with trained volunteers and interns on hand to guide visitors.
