“Rasuwa Flood Relief Program 2026”

Our team is currently on the ground in Dunche, carrying out a needs assessment in the flood-affected areas. They travelled there by helicopter, bringing solar lights, but due to the ongoing emergency, they have not been able to return to Kathmandu. Helicopters are prioritizing the evacuation of injured and seriously ill people, so our team may have to remain there for a few days.

Despite the difficult circumstances, they are continuously coordinating with the CDO’s office, Nepal Army officials, and local authorities to assess the situation and determine how Sowers Action Nepal can best support the next phase of relief efforts.
