Chinese Language Program (2025–2026) | Shree Kodari Secondary School

In the 2025–2026 academic year, Sowers Action Nepal launched the Chinese Language Learning Program at Shree Kodari Secondary School, located in the northern border region of Nepal near the Nepal–China border. The initiative was established to expand educational opportunities for students and equip them with practical language skills that can support future academic, cultural, and economic engagement.

The program provides structured Chinese language instruction, focusing on the development of speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. Through regular classroom learning and cultural exposure, students gain a foundational understanding of the Chinese language while strengthening their cross-cultural communication abilities.

Given the school’s strategic location near the international border, Chinese language proficiency has the potential to create valuable opportunities for students in higher education, tourism, trade, and international cooperation. The program aims to prepare students with skills that are increasingly relevant in a globally connected world.

Through this initiative, Sowers Action Nepal remains committed to improving educational access, broadening learning opportunities, and empowering students in remote communities with the knowledge and competencies needed for future success.
