The Class of 2027 Scholarship Program is a flagship educational initiative jointly implemented by Sowers Action Nepal and 100 Group to expand access to quality higher secondary education for talented students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds across Nepal. The program seeks to identify and nurture future leaders by removing financial barriers and providing a comprehensive support system that enables students to pursue their academic goals.
Students are selected through a rigorous nationwide entrance examination and evaluation process that assesses both academic potential and socioeconomic need. The scholarship targets students who have successfully completed Grade 10 and demonstrate strong academic promise, leadership qualities, and a commitment to personal growth.
The program provides full scholarship support for two years of higher secondary education in Kathmandu, covering accommodation, meals, transportation, and other essential educational and living expenses. To ensure a safe, structured, and supportive environment, separate residential facilities are maintained for male and female students. Hostel operations are jointly managed by Sowers Action Nepal and 100 Group, with all scholarship-related costs fully funded by Sowers Action.
The current Class of 2027 cohort comprises 60 scholarship students from diverse regions of Nepal, including 30 female students residing at the Sowers Action Girls’ Hostel and 30 male students residing at the 100 Group Boys’ Hostel. Beyond financial assistance, students benefit from a nurturing environment that promotes academic excellence, personal development, leadership, and social responsibility.
Through strategic partnerships with leading educational institutions in Kathmandu, scholarship recipients are granted access to high-quality education through dedicated scholarship quotas. Partner schools generously waive tuition fees for students enrolled under the program, further strengthening the collective commitment to educational equity and opportunity.
