Hot Meal Program & Chinese Language Program 2024-25 | Jhirpu Secondary School

Education Support Program (2024–2025)

During the 2024–2025 academic year, Sowers Action Nepal continued the implementation of the Education Support Program at Jhirpu Secondary School, supporting students’ academic achievement and overall well-being through two key initiatives: the Hot Meal Program and the Chinese Language Learning Program.

The Hot Meal Program provided nutritious meals to students during school hours, helping improve attendance, classroom engagement, and student health. By addressing nutritional needs, the program contributed to creating a more inclusive and supportive learning environment, particularly for students from economically vulnerable families.

The Chinese Language Learning Program continued to provide students from Grades 7 to 12 with access to foreign language education, enabling them to develop practical communication skills and broaden their global perspective. Through structured instruction in speaking, listening, reading, and writing, students gained valuable language competencies that can support future educational and career opportunities.

Through the continued delivery of these integrated educational and nutritional services, Sowers Action Nepal remains committed to empowering students, enhancing learning outcomes, and expanding opportunities for children and youth in rural communities.
