Scholarship Project
Sowers Action Nepal, in partnership with 100 Group, is implementing a nationwide scholarship program for students who have successfully completed Grade 10 from across Nepal. The selection process involves a nationwide entrance examination, through which students are chosen based on their academic performance and financial background.
The scholarship offers comprehensive support, covering tuition fees, accommodation, meals, and transportation in Kathmandu for two years. Separate accommodations are arranged for boys and girls, with the program fully funded by Sowers Action. The Sowers Action Nepal and 100 Group jointly manage the operation of the hostels. Currently, 44 female students reside in the Sowers Action Girls’ Hostel under the supervision of Sowers Action Nepal, while 50 male students stay in the 100 Group Boys’ Hostel.
Regarding the tuition fees, schools in Kathmandu provide special quotas for students under this project. The partner schools in Kathmandu are currently waiving the tuition fees for our scholarship students. Mentioned below are the list of partner schools.
