Sowers Action Nepal successfully organized a Sanitary Pad Distribution and Menstrual Health Awareness Program at Nagyur Memorial School.

The program was designed not only to provide essential resources but also to empower young girls with knowledge and confidence. Through an engaging and interactive session, our dedicated staff members, Ms. Dawa Sangmu and Ms. Dawa Dolma Lama, spoke about the importance of menstrual hygiene, the safe use of sanitary pads, and the need to break long-held taboos surrounding menstruation. They also addressed common myths and encouraged open conversations on a topic often left unspoken.

The day concluded with the distribution of sanitary pads to the students, ensuring they are better supported in their health, dignity, and education journey.
